Hoon Park

This visit is to Hoon Park. I don't want to be presumptuous, but this may be our favourite park. So many more to go yet, but we really enjoyed this one.

The kids have been here before and couldn't even wait to get a sign picture, they were already on the playground before I could get my camera out.

This park has a playground as well as a huge wooded area.

I'm a sucker for the woods!

The climbing structure is one loop with 3 slides and 5 alternate entries/exits. Wowza!

There is this coiled "fire pole" if you will.
We've seen them in other parks, and they are
a fun way to get down to the ground.

Beans was reminding me how it worked, but he was having so much trouble and got stuck eventually. It was one of those moments, "Did you really take a picture?"

Yup! I did.

I think he's just gotten too tall for some things.

Turkey gave it a shot, first he went round and round through the middle like an apple corer. Then he tried this fancy sideways move, it didn't really go well.

This was the last and final failure at sliding down the coily thing before we had to give up or pee our pants from laughter.

Failure did not stop us though

Nothing can stop us!

Except for the fact that the coily thing was not the same coily thing as other parks as we discovered at a later park which is why it wouldn't work for us (face palm).
