Shore Park everyone, I've called this the sad park for years. I drove past it probably 7 years ago while getting lost in this neighbourhood. I remember it having only one spring toy and a sad wooden sign. I could not stop laughing at it.
I now have to admit that I'm a bit sad that it's had some things added to it. While these items are dated it's still not the sad park that I remember but I feel it deserves a solid A for effort
The kids weren't overly excited to play here, they didn't venture on to the structure at all. Fighting about which horse was the lesser of evils seemed to be the priority.
This park just had a sad feeling about it though. The neighbourhood itself is a complex of trailer homes, which there is nothing wrong with. However, you know the cliches and stigmas that these sorts of areas tend to have....directly across from the park is a fabulous unit with multiple cars on blocks missing front ends, rear ends etc. So if you face the part it's not bad, if you're in the park facing out, kinda sad in a no love kind of way.
